The Tom Feist Foundation (TFF) began awarding grants within the Spearville Community in 2014. The foundation has put over $5,000,000 into nonprofit entities that are located in or work directly with people in Spearville.

Some of the grants were for sidewalk renovation, fire truck replacement, tornado siren replacement, water main replacement, new street lights and street signs, and digital sign replacement.
